This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit juanramonyardservice.com, request a quote, book a service online, or contact us by phone, text, or email. It does not cover other websites we link to. Those sites follow their own policies.

We collect information in three ways: you give it to us, we create it while caring for your yard, and our website records it automatically.

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, phone number, and email address.
  • Property details: your service address, gate codes, access instructions, pets on site, and anything else our crew should know before arriving.
  • Booking details: the services you request, your preferred dates, and any notes you add.
  • Photos: pictures of your yard that you send us for a quote or a plant question.
  • Payment information: card and billing details, processed securely by [payment processor]. We do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Messages: emails, texts, reviews, and feedback you send us.

Information we create during your service

  • Your service history and crew notes about your plants, soil, and irrigation.
  • Before and after photos of our work.
  • Quotes, invoices, and receipts.

Information our website collects automatically

  • Your device and browser type, IP address, and general location (city level).
  • The pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and the date and time of your visit.

How we use your information

Text messages and email

When you book with us, we send texts and emails about your service: confirmations, reminders, arrival windows, weather delays, and receipts.

If you check the opt-in box on our booking form, we may also send occasional seasonal care tips and offers. Opting in is never a condition of booking.

  • Frequency and cost: message frequency varies with your service schedule. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Opting out of texts: reply STOP to any text to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help. If you opt out, we will reach you by email or phone about booked appointments.
  • Opting out of email: use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Your number stays with us: we do not share your mobile number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Photos of your yard

We photograph our work before and after a visit. These photos document the job, help us track plant health over time, and settle any questions about the service. They stay in your service record.

We ask your permission before using photos of your property in our portfolio, on social media, or in advertising. We do not publish your name, address, or house number alongside a photo. You can ask us to take a photo down at any time.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Our crew and trusted specialists: team members assigned to your property, and licensed subcontractors such as tree or irrigation specialists, receive the address and service details they need to do the work.
  • Service providers: companies that help us run our business, including online booking and scheduling (cognito forms), email, website hosting, analytics, and accounting. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • At your direction: for example, a property manager, landlord, or HOA you ask us to coordinate with.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of our customers, our crew, or the public.
  • Business changes: if Juan Ramon Yard Service is sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to honor this policy.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies, small files stored in your browser, for three purposes:

  • Essential: keeping the booking form working and your session secure.
  • Preferences: remembering choices you have made on the site.

How we protect and keep your information

  • Password-protected accounts, limited to team members who need access.
  • Gate codes and access instructions shared only with the crew assigned to your property.

No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as Arizona law requires.

We keep your information for as long as you are a customer. After that, we keep service and payment records for 1 year to meet tax, insurance, and legal requirements. We delete gate codes and access instructions when you end service or ask us to.

Your choices

Your information belongs to you. At any time, you can ask us to:

  • Show you the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information, except records we are required to keep.
  • Stop sending marketing texts or emails.
  • Withdraw permission to use photos of your property.

We offer these choices to every customer, wherever you live. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may ask a question or two to confirm your identity, and we will respond within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

Our services are for adults who own or manage property. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services grow. When we do, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email current customers before it takes effect.
