Terms and Conditions

Efective date: Oct/09/2026

Welcome

These Terms and Conditions explain how we work together, from your first online booking to the last swept walkway. We wrote them in plain language because trust starts with being clear.

“Juan Ramon Yard Service,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean [Juan Ramon Yard Service LLC], based in Phoenix, Arizona. “You” and “your” mean the person booking or receiving our services, or using juanramonyardservice.com.

By booking a service, approving an estimate, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If something here does not sit right with you, please reach out before you book. We are glad to talk it through.

1. Our services

We care for yards as living systems, from choosing the right plants to keeping them healthy season after season. Our services include:

  • Yard maintenance: mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, blowing, and cleanup
  • Plant selection, planting, and ongoing plant care
  • Landscape installation and refresh projects, including gravel and desert landscaping
  • Irrigation checks, adjustments, and minor repairs
  • Seasonal services such as overseeding, tree and shrub care, and storm cleanup

The exact work for your yard is listed in your booking confirmation or written estimate. If it is not listed there, it is not included, but you can always ask us to add it.

We serve Pinal and Maricopa County, Phoenix Metro and nearby communities in the Valley.  If your address falls outside our service area, we will let you know before your booking is confirmed.

2. Estimates and booking

Booking online. You can request a service, a visit, or an estimate through our website at any time. A booking request is not final until we send you a confirmation by email or text.

Accurate details. Please give us correct information about your property, including its size, gate access, pets, and any known issues. Prices shown online are based on what you tell us. If the yard is noticeably different from what was described, we will talk with you about an updated price before starting work.

Estimates. Written estimates are valid for [30] days. An estimate is our best assessment of the work based on what we can see. It becomes an agreement once you approve it in writing, online, or by paying a deposit.

Changes to the work. Yards are living things, and plans sometimes change. If you ask for extra work, or we find something that changes the scope, we will explain the cost and get your approval before we continue.

Who can book. You must be at least 18 years old and be the property owner, or have the owner’s permission, to book services for a property.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes are added where required by law.

Deposits. Installation and project work may require a deposit of up to 50% to reserve your date and order plants and materials. The deposit amount is shown on your estimate.

When payment is due. One-time services are due on completion of the visit. Project work is due according to the schedule on your estimate. Maintenance plans are billed based on frequency, in advance.

How to pay. We accept Zelle, checks, and cash.

Late payments. Invoices unpaid after [15] days may incur a late fee of [1.5% per month] on the unpaid balance, or the highest amount allowed by law if that is lower. We may pause future visits until the account is current.

Returned payments. A fee of $50 applies to returned checks or reversed payments.

Special-order materials. Plants and materials ordered specifically for your project are yours once ordered. If you cancel after we place the order, the cost of those items is not refundable unless our supplier accepts a return.

5. Your property

Good work starts with a yard we can reach and work in safely. Before each visit, we ask that you:

  • Unlock gates or share access codes, and let us know about any entry instructions
  • Keep pets and children indoors or away from the work area
  • Pick up pet waste, toys, hoses, furniture, and other loose items
  • Move vehicles if they block access to the work area
  • Tell us about anything fragile or hidden, such as low-voltage lighting, drip lines, invisible pet fences, or septic lids

Underground utilities. For any work that involves digging, public utility lines must be marked before we start. We coordinate utility marking through Arizona 811 where required. Private lines are not marked by that service. This includes irrigation, landscape lighting wiring, pool lines, and propane lines. You are responsible for telling us where private lines are. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked or undisclosed lines.

Irrigation systems. Older irrigation parts can be brittle, especially after years of desert sun. We handle them carefully, but we are not responsible for failures caused by age, wear, or existing damage. If we find a problem, we will show you and offer a repair option.

HOA rules and permits. You are responsible for any homeowner association approvals and for telling us about rules that affect the work. If a project needs a city or county permit, your estimate will say who obtains it.

Water and power. You agree to let our crew use outdoor water and electrical outlets on your property as needed to do the work.

6. Safety first

Safety comes before schedule, every time. It protects your family, your property, and our crew.

  • Our crew may pause or stop work if conditions are unsafe. Examples include aggressive animals, hazardous materials, unstable structures, stinging insect nests, or dangerous weather.
  • Please stay clear of the work area and equipment while we are working.
  • We follow product labels and applicable regulations when using fertilizers, herbicides, or pest treatments. We will tell you when it is safe for people and pets to return to treated areas.
  • If we stop a visit for safety reasons, we will explain why and work with you on next steps.

7. Plants and living materials

We choose each plant with your yard’s light, soil, and water in mind, and we plant it with care. Plants are living things, though, and no one can promise how a living thing will grow.

Our plant care promise. If a plant we supplied and installed fails within 60 days of planting, we will replace it once with the same or a similar plant at no charge for the plant.

What the promise depends on. The promise applies when:

  • You follow the watering and care instructions we give you
  • The irrigation serving the plant is working and has not been changed
  • Your account is paid in full

What is not covered. We cannot cover losses caused by things outside our control, including:

  • Extreme heat, frost, wind, hail, flooding, or drought restrictions
  • Pests, disease, or wildlife
  • Pets, vehicles, foot traffic, or work done by others
  • Under-watering, over-watering, or irrigation failure
  • Plants or materials you supplied, transplanted plants, annuals, seed, and sod

Natural variation. Plants, stone, gravel, and wood vary in color, size, and shape. What we install may differ slightly from photos or samples. If a plant on your estimate is unavailable, we will suggest a close match and get your approval first.

8. Our workmanship commitment

We want you to feel as proud of your yard as we are of our work.

If something is not right. Tell us within 3 days of a maintenance visit, or within 7 days of a completed project. Photos help. We will come back and make it right at no extra charge when the issue is with our work.

Installation workmanship. We stand behind the workmanship of our installations for one year from completion. This covers how the work was done. It does not cover normal wear, settling, damage caused by others, or changes made after we finish.

Giving us the chance to fix it. Please let us look at a concern before hiring someone else to correct it. We cannot reimburse work by others that we did not agree to in advance.

Manufacturer warranties. Products such as irrigation controllers and lighting carry their manufacturer’s warranty, which we pass along to you.

9. Ongoing maintenance plans

Regular care keeps a yard healthy, and a plan keeps it effortless for you.

  • Schedule. Plans run [weekly, every two weeks, or monthly] on a regular service day. Holidays and weather may shift a visit by a day or two.
  • Billing. Plans are billed [monthly] to the payment method on file and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Skipping or pausing. You can skip a visit or pause your plan with at least [48] hours’ notice. A yard that has gone without service for a while may need a one-time catch-up visit at an additional cost.
  • Price changes. We will give you at least [30] days’ written notice before changing your plan price.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel a plan at any time with [30] days’ notice. There are no cancellation fees. You pay only for visits completed before the plan ends.
  • What is included. Your plan lists the services included. Anything beyond that list is quoted separately.

10. Photos of our work

We take before-and-after photos to document our work and track how your yard is doing. With your permission, we may share photos of the yard on our website and social media. We never show house numbers, license plates, people, or anything that identifies you or your address.

You can say no at booking or at any time afterward by contacting us. We will stop using photos of your property going forward and remove them from our website on request.

11. Using our website

Your account and information. If you create an account or submit a booking, please keep your contact details current and your login private. You are responsible for bookings made through your account.

Fair use. Please use the website only to learn about and book our services. Do not misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, submit false bookings, or copy its content for commercial use.

Our content. The Juan Ramon Yard Service name, logo, photos, text, and design belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.

Website accuracy. We work to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided as is. Photos are examples of past work, and prices or availability shown online may change until your booking is confirmed.

Emails and texts. When you book, you agree to receive service messages by email, phone, or text. These include confirmations, arrival updates, invoices, and care instructions. Message and data rates may apply. Marketing messages are sent only if you opt in, and you can reply STOP to any text or unsubscribe from any email at any time.

Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use and protect it. [Confirm the final URL.]

Other websites. Our site may link to third-party services, such as payment or scheduling tools. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.

12. Responsibility and limits

We take responsibility for our work. These limits set fair expectations for both of us.

If we damage something. If our crew damages your property through our own carelessness, tell us within [3] days of the visit. We will inspect it and repair it, replace it, or pay the reasonable cost of repair.

What we are not responsible for. We are not responsible for:

  • Existing conditions or damage, including cracked hardscape, aging irrigation, and diseased or unstable trees
  • Items left in the work area, or hidden items we were not told about
  • Damage caused by weather, pests, wildlife, vandalism, or other people
  • Normal effects of landscaping work, such as minor turf marks from equipment
  • Results that depend on nature, including plant growth, bloom, or weed regrowth

Limit on amounts. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use or enjoyment of your yard. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or reduces rights you have under Arizona consumer law.

Events beyond our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Examples include severe weather, natural disasters, supplier shortages, water restrictions, and government orders.

13. Resolving concerns and general terms

Talk to us first. If you have a concern, contact us and give us [30] days to resolve it. Most things can be settled with a conversation and a visit to the yard.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any dispute we cannot resolve together will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply to bookings made after that date. For maintenance plans, we will notify you of important changes before they take effect.

If part of these Terms does not apply. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.

The whole agreement. These Terms, together with your booking confirmation or approved estimate, are the full agreement between us. If your estimate says something different from these Terms, the estimate controls for that job.
